The international project NISTO (New Integrated Smart Transport Options), which was carried out by seven partners from 5 countries (Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Germany), has been successfully completed. The project partners have developed a new toolkit, which shall be used for the evaluation of mobility projects. The European Commission has funded the project with around 3 million euros.
The mobility planning toolkit was presented at the final conference in Brussels on Monday, 16th of November. Amongst several European traffic experts, Michael Cramer, Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism, praised the successful conclusion of the innovative project.
Decisive for the development of the NISTO toolkit were data and experiences of projects of the involved partners. Find out more about the regional projects here.
